Our Story

Sleek’s Matcha was founded by Ines Adeogun-Phillips, also known as Sleek, from a lifelong dream of creating a space where community and culture could come together. Inspired by the cafés and cultural hubs that shape cities around the world, Sleek set out to build something similar in Lagos — a place where people could gather, connect, and feel at home. Matcha became the nexus, but the vision was always bigger than the drink.

Today, Sleek’s is a cultural clubhouse powered by matcha — where music, creativity, and conversation meet. From morning matcha runs to community events, it’s a space built for the culture and for the people who move it forward. Matcha for the culture. A home for the community.
